What is a great baby gift idea in this case?
lisaclara asked:
I want to purchase a gift for a friend who is having a baby. I want to make it a group gift from a group of 3-4 year olds. Do you have any ideas? They can write their names, maybe a blanket written on with a fabric pen, it can’t be super big or alot of stuff. I guess it could be a baby item from them with a card they all wrote on. Do you have any other really creative ideas that could work? I love brainstorming!

I would have them each put their hand or foot prints on it, and then you can write their names underneath their prints yourself.
It would be really cute!

A baby book! Get a baby scrap booking kit and have them help put the stickers and such around. Maybe they could put their own touch on it by putting fingerprints and their signatures.

From the kids right but creative as well? Ask each of the kids what is their favorite animal? Toy they would never let go of? have the kids put together the baby’s first book and laminate it… They can all sign their contribution.

They make stuffed animals called autograph animals. I got one at a party and card store in my local town. It was a ducky made of a pleather type material. So I had everyone at my shower sign it so I could give it to my daughter when she was older. You could use any stuffed animal made out of a fabric like that.

This gift would have to be hand made….A baby quilt that could be hung on the wall. Each square can have a picture of the child with their name written under it, or like PumpkinsMommy said, their foot prints/hand prints..And I would arrange these squares going around a bigger square(in the middle) and there you could have Welcome baby ____ or whatever you wanted to say.
I wish I could explain it better, I can see it perfectly in my head lol

I would pick out something each child really likes or needed. I keep thinking along the lines of “you are going to need this on your journey,” if that make sense. Say, a nightlight, then one of the kids could write why they would need a nightlight. Something a little one would say. Other ideas might be a growth chart, piggy bank, the famous keys teether, record book, keepsake box…
