Items from the baby Einstein range usually go over well. Just carefully pic from the baby’s age and up. You can find books, movies, toys, etc. For the wedding gift they should be registered, but if you can’t find out where…Go some mid ranged stores that offer wedding registry services (Pier 1, Belk, Khol’s, Neiman Marcus, etc.) Ask the sales person what are some popular registry gifts. Just don’t let them drag you into anything you have to pick a color or pattern for, like towels or dishes. Cookware, Picture Frames, and Christal are usually good choices. Also go on line and check Red Envelope.

A one year old child understands very little about birthdays and gifts. I would be inclined to put the money in a savings account held in her name so that the money can’t be touched until she comes of age. You can top up the account whenever you like and when she is 18 or so you can give her the account details. By that time she should have a nice sum ready for when she needs it, like when she wants to put down a deposit on her first home, buy her first car etc.

For the marriage gift I would get them the most beautiful throw you can afford ($100 should be enough for that) or a photo frame of the sort you know they like.

Here is a wedding idea.

This company sells wind chimes that you can have inscribed with your feelings, blessings, and love.

They have a great selection of sizes, colors, wind sail shapes, and they even give you examples of things to say if you cant think of something.
