contact this person she is a local quilt maker here and her quilts are mostly crib quilts and you tell her the theme of the nursary or the babies name or whatever you want the quilt to reflect and then she custom makes it just for you. i have seen dozens of her quilts and so far they have all been amazing. although sometimes she has a lot on her plate and may not be able to make it for you and price depends on what kind of details you want.

etsy.com is a wonderful place to purchase handmade baby items. you may have to do a little searching through the site to find a style you like, but there are some really talented people on there.

you could also go to ohdeedoh.com or coochicoos.com and do a search for handmade items…they usually will have a featured designer from time to time that makes certain baby/children items.

i make a lot of handmade baby items myself and would offer my services, but with a new baby i haven’t had much time to sew.
