How do i thank everyone for my baby shower gifts?

baby gifts
LHB’s Mom asked:

Today (well the 26th) was my baby shower. It was a surprise. I was shocked lol. I got so many useful gifts and i want to thank everyone for the stuff I received. How do i do that? Do i buy cards? Also my cousin threw me the shower all by herself. I want to thank her in a special way. What should I do for her? Thanks.
its easier for you i wrote down everything i got and the people who gave it to me.

Send out some really cute Thank You cards and some pics of the new baby when he gets here! As far as your cousin,(that was so sweet of her) treat her to a day at the spa or just a simple pedicure. Good Luck

It is pretty standard to send Thank you cards in the mail to all the guests and try to remember what you got from each of them so you can thank them for that specific gift. For your cousin you could bake her cookies and give her some bubble bath and yummy smelling candles with some ****** scrubs and masks and stuff so she can spend a day pampering herself, or if you have the money you can send her to the spa or for a massage as a thank you!

If you have a printer at home…you can buy blank thank you cards and print them out yourself…that way you can put personal messages to each person…it is time consuming….but thats why they will appreciate it so much because you took the time out to do that for everyone…thats what i did for my wedding..i also printed out my favorite picture and put one in the cards for everyone…..for your cousin….find something that u know she will like and buy it for her…

Send them thank you cards! and the people you see a lot thank them in person to. And take your cousin to dinner or buy her a little gift for the party! she sounds like a sweetie!!

My sister just had a baby shower and she sent out thank you cards to everyone who signed her book saying they were there. You could probably just by her a gift also or give her a card.

gee put a sign out in front of your house saying thanks.
Of course you should send thank you cards and do not procrastinate in doing it. thank you cousin from the bottom of your heart and maybe take her to eat at a restaurant just you and her

You can print up your own TY cards or just buy generic, I had some printed up with a pic from my Ultrasound inside a picture of my huge belly (had twins) my second pregnancy. It was really cute and the note was so generic it simply said “Thank you for your thoughtfulness and giving heart” they’ll understand your are preparing for a baby and don’t have large amounts of time to devote to TY cards. As for the Host, buy her something simple like flowers and a teddy with a gift card or something you know she really likes. It’s all about the thought.

Definitely get thank-you cards. Did you write down the name of each gift with its giver’s name when you opened each one? It’s a great way to personalize thank-you cards. In the card, write how surprised you were and how you loved the shower and appreciated their gift. Write from your heart, basically. What you wrote in your question is pretty good already.

As for your cousin, maybe give her a gift card to her favorite restaurant or clothing store? That’s what I did for the friends who threw me my baby shower.

You get little thank you cards for everyone. people love getting thank you cards. As for your Cousin get her a special card and personalise it.

You could get her a little gift to say thanks. Or take her out to lunch or something.

Get thank you cards, and that way you can thank each person individually for the gifts that they got you.
Since your cousin threw the shower for you, I would suggest getting her a gift certificate of some kind (restaurant, store, spa, etc…), as a way of saying thank you.
