Gift ideas for a pregnant woman (not baby gifts) but things for her. She is not into jewlery/pampering?
Confused sis asked:
It is for my sister and I already have tons of things for the baby. I want to give her something special.

What I wanted SO badly…but never got….
A day at the Spa or even a decent back rub. Anything that made being pregnant a little more comfortable.
Does she collect or like anything? A gift certificate to her favorite store. A basket of her favorite snack foods. Flowers are nice to for a smile.
Alcohol.
I got a bottle of bacardi at my baby shower. Didn’t drink it for a long while afterwards, but still made me laugh.
Don’t know if that’s quite the “special” you were looking for. Hehe.
Give her a childbirth book that will help her to plan a safe and gentle birth for her and baby.
GIFTS BAGS FROM BATH AND BODY R GREAT . ALSO THINGS LIKE TEAS AND CANDLES- THESE ARE ALL NICE RELAXING THINGS ALL WEMON ENJOY
Right now I would love to have one of those body pillows to curl up with at night! You can get special ones at Babies r us or a regular one at Target.
A really pretty nightgown or pajamas or robe to wear in the hospital. If she’s going to breastfeed make sure it opens down the front.
I would say a gift card to her favorite store. Maybe a good book… about motherhood or pregnancy (write something in it for her… it will make a nice keepsake)
Manicure and pedicure and then take her to get a bikini wax before shes due =] thats what i would like!!! Oh i hope my friends think of me.
Several of those little beanie pillows that she can use to get positioned comfortably. It’s very hard to get comfortable. Maybe a little mini fan that has batteries that she can carry around and sit anywhere to keep her cool.
For after bras, pads, those ****** pads that you put in your bra when you are leaking. Comfortable nightgowns, houseshoes, healthy things she can keep frozen and heat up easily when she is hungry. If she has long hair, things to pull her hair way back and up with so it wont get in her’s or the baby’s face (or tangled up in the baby’s hands).
For the hospital, new clean sheets (2 sets of twin sheets) for the hospital bed… so she doesn’t have to sleep on hospital sheets. Something like listerene strips for her mouth to get rid of that funky taste/smell. Some febreeze for the room (stinky diapers and that hosp smell).
Just some ideas, there are lots of other good practical gifts that are thoughtful.
Congratulations on your new neice/nephew!
